π1

The π molecular orbitals of the allyl radical. π1 is occupied by a pair of electrons, and is a bonding molecular orbital. π2 is nonbonding molecular orbital that is occupied by a single electron; this orbital is the SOMO and HOMO. π3* is an unoccupied antibonding molecular orbital; it is the LUMO.
